Saving up for a air ride kit, has any1 got air ride on there gti?? what would be the handling like?? wud it give any problem to the car in anyway??

From a performance point of view, decent hydraulic dampers with coil springs win every time.... Some of the higher spec coilovers are very good!

A Guy who used to use this forum called mc_iver_9n had them on his 9n, may be worth dropping him a PM see if he gets back to you.
