Would it be legal to smoke out the front fogs?

As in so dark, that just looking at the car (with them switched off) there barely noticeable?

Also is it possible to make the insides of the lights black?


Reason i ask, im thinking of dfferent light set ups.

Im thinking all red at the back (i have a red car), and up the font black angel eyes (lightly smoked if thats legal), and the fogs at the bottom with black inside to match the head lights and the smoke effect to.

I can't see that smoked front fogs would infringe any law since it's not mandatory to have them on your car at all.

i have the black angel eyes and i wouldnt see the need to smoke them at all,

as for the foglights i dont see why not,

i have also wondered if its possible to blacken the inside of foglights as i want them to match my headlights

yeh this cant be breaking any law surely as you dont have to have them so if you have them but not properly visible its the same as not having them at all?

must be there is a bloke who lives a few streets away who has a navy blue bora and has got an orange vw badge and orange headlights

you have to pry open the lens on the headlight, by first heating it up in the headlight .... here is a guide for a civic, could easily be applied to any other car

the only thing id say is that a foglight dosent need to be in the quite as long...

its the only way to separate the lens from the rest of the headlamp apparently...but I think the polo has got some metal clips as well. Surely they are not the only thing holding everything together. If you'll use the oven method just make sure not to touch the lamps with the oven wall and look at more DIY tutorials, you'll surely find more precautions, to avoid ending up with some plastic scrambled eggs hehe
