Hey,
I have recently acquired a 6n2 GTI and would like to get rid of the standard headunit and speakers.
I would like to stick in 6.5" front and back, I had the panels of the other day and the speakers at the back are mounted on a plate, I was wondering if I was to install some beefier speakers at the back, the plate would shake and you'd get a lot of rumbling. Is this the case?
Any advice would be appreciated. I was thinkning of getting these speakers

Re: Speaker help!
Can't answer the back plate question, but my 2p is spend twice as much £100 on just fronts, and fade the sound to the front using the head unit. You'll get a much nicer sounding system.
Re: Speaker help!
Personally, just spend a FORTUNE on just front speakers (components), forget about the rears completely.
thats what I did, havn't looked back....
until I spent another fortune on rears.. but I'm a audio geek
