just seen this on the net is it real , also vw birmingham have just phoned me to say that there taking orders from april

looks a bit too much like a golf GTI to me.
did a quick search on google and found this :

This is what I come across. Looks nice, I love how the VW emblem is on the bonnet like the scirocco! Looks brilliant!

I absolutely love it! its certainly looks better than the 9N3 model and packs as much punch as the current Cup GTI.

Shame their £18,000 but I will get my hands on one of these 1 day. They are similar to the golf to be fair but the golf is a great looking car too.

Well Done VW, you have really cheered me up after a long week at work.

I think it looks great and really pleased they have gone for full 178bhp. No inferiority to Ibiza Cupras now.

I can't wait to see it at the Geneva Motor Show in 2 weeks.

Really liking the look of this, shame it could be £18K but maybe affordable with a decent deposit and then financing on VW options??

Yeah I was also glad to see its on par with the Ibiza Cupra too. The GTI looks so much better too so I wouldnt be suprised if it's a popular car in the next 2 years.
