Hi, aint been on for a while,

I've bought some 2.5cm tweeters to replace the fronts. Just waiting for some good/warm weather to fit them. But wondered if anyone has changed the rear ones by the door handles. Are they the same size and/or will 2.5cm fit in the housing. Only because one has started to distort slightly. Any advice would be great.

I 'beleive' they are the same size, but id have to check as I have a set in my storage.

what tweeters did you get mate... i need some i dont have any at all

i'm a Sony man. Not got the best sound system but got a Sony head unit and speakers and tweeters (not fitted yet) so not sure of the quality

did it come in a bundle or did you buy them seperatly ?, i may just ebay some cheapish ones...

i only have the official 6cd changer thing
the vw headunit with tape deck lol
and the official vw ipod adapter lead over 100 quid... robbing ****

Nah seperate mate. I'cve heard they dont do much to the standard ones. I'm just converting everthing to Sony. I wouldn't bother if everythings standard in yours, unless ones faulty.

they never worked so i ripped em out lol there non exsistant in my car so i need to get some regardless... anyhow thanks... off to work... again

I've just order another Sony set. So as soon as it warms up i'll fit them and let you know what there like
