OEM Mods

Does anyone know what other mods / options are available for the Polo? i.e. auto lights/wipers, air con/climate, cruise control etc? Can any of these be retro fitted? I have fitted several OEM mods to my VAG cars over the years and won't mind "speccing up" this one.
I'll probably keep an eye out for the GTI grill and lip spoiler, possibly lower it and stick on a set of 15s. (I'd love a set of GTI BBSs). What is the best size wheel to go for?
And an "off the planet" idea for now, but I quite fancy sticking a 1.8T into it. Has it been done before (must have!) and how easy is it to do? What gearbox do you use?
Thanks in advance.
Matt

The GTI had several options on it such as rain sensative/auto dimming rear view mirror, climate control,6CD Changer, heated leather seats & the rare RNS Sat Nav.
Any of these are possible with your car, dependant on how much you want to get involved with it.Options like the auto dimming mirror are easier than installing an air conditioning unit, but again depends what you want to do.
Easier subtle OEM mods can come in the form of things as small as replacing the passenger side door handle for a keyless one etc.
The list is endless.

What is involved with auto wipers is it just plug and play? Does the wiring already exist and do I just turn it one with VAG COM?

None of the mods are really as simple as plug and play.I think the only one that is is fitting foglights if you havent already got them. They are cables just require the fog lights, fog light grills and a new lighting barrel switch.
The 6 disc changer has a multicore cable run from the headunit to the lefthand side of the boot. They are mounted here in a small cage type bracket again not plug and play.

I have a different HU to go in anyway, it does MP3s via USB so I have no real need for a CD Autochanger!

i was told you cant out climate control in a non climate control car (wey with the money being worth it) as it has loads of sensors and stuff
