Sorry if this has been asked already, but I couldn't find anything in the search...

what are the sizes of the speakers of the front and rear in a 58 plate 1.2 VW polo...

I think there 6.5" - but is there any need for speaker spacers etc?

for 6.5" speakers front and rear?

Door cards are easily removed.. All you have to do is:

Take of the window winder, by pointing the winder downwards to the floor and then pushing down, there will be a ring between the winder and the doorcard, whilst pushing down on the winder, pull the ring up this should unlock it and just pull it out.

Then the door handle, there is a piece of plastic on the front that needs to be taken out, easiest way is to pull the door handle, and then get a flat head and get inbetween the gaps and pull it out, there will be 2 torx screws. These will need to come out then CAREFULLY undo all the clips around the door cards. Then simply slide up.

As for the speakers, I also need to know if adapters are needed, As I already have speakers they are stuck on :S The screws don't work!

And yes they are 6.5"

the old speakers need to be drilled out as they are riveted in.

you will then need to make up mdf speaker rings to space the speaker out from the dors. If you put it in without the rings to space them out then your window will hit the speaker when you wind it down.
