de-badge grill?

been looking to get this but still undecided! i think it will enhance the meanness of the front end just wanted to know what you guys thought on the idea! lol
and ive been looking in to a splitter too - the cupra one fits doesnt it?? anyone got one??
opinions needed!

Hi Matt, thats the same grill as ive got, i know a lot of people dont like them on here, but im the odd one out cuz i do!

yeah i like it, the notch is slighty annoying but you get used to it

do you know if you can take the red piping from the gti grill off and put it on the one you have? or do you have to bodge it and use tape or something? lol

no you would have to use red tape if you want the stripe on, you can take it off the old grill,
Oh and the grill is not a direct fit, you have to cut away part of the plastic that the old grill fits into! its not a big job even i did it myself, lol

would you still b able to put back the original grill though? do you have to cut muchh ?? lol

yes you can put the old one back no problem, its two plastic strips that just gives it a bit more strength, hard to explain really, you should be able to see them through your grill thats on the car now.

Front Splitter
Only just fitted the cupra front splitter, think it looks pretty good, it just takes abit of work to fit it. Not as easy as i thought it was going to be when i bought it.
What i did is i used about 20 self tapping screws and screwed it into the original splitter, and i can tell it its not coming off. You do however need to trim the ends of the splitter as it is just a bit too long for the front. Definitely think the work was worth it though
