Hi i just got a set of doorcards and the inserts are very dirty.

They are the red coloured inserts and just wondered what can i use to make it nice and clean again!?

Foam shampoo and a brush is good! Autoglym do it, as do companies like Turtle wax.

Also off topic, i noticed when i took off the doorcards, along the top edge on the doorcards when taken off is like a window guide stuck on with some sort of glue? any idea what that is since my one fell off when i got it. However i have just pushed the guide back along the black rubber guides on the window. Should do the trick right as i believe it wont fall out since its held in by the 2 tight rubber gaps from the window guide? .. Sorry if it didnt make any sense what soever lol

Yeh mine are loose, once you put the doorcard back together they sit in snug. I assume they are a form of guttering to stop excess water getting in.

Hmmmm, is it ok to do the 'scrubbing' with the doorcard intact with the door do you think? I've been meaning to cleaning my doorcards for ages, but I'm too scared of getting my carpets wet lol

Id say so. Get a can of Autoglym HiFoam cleaner spray (its a nice big can), and a clean 'dustpan' (or similar) soft brush`.

Spray the foam onto the surface, work it in with the brush, then wipe off with a damp jay cloth or similar

Leave to dry and admire

Yeh definitely with the door card on.

Just be sure to wash the whole lot at the same time, because all shampoo foam leaves watermarks if done in sections!

I already have the AG interior shampoo spray stuff will that be ok to use?

I would use the high foam cleaner, as its thin fabric stuck on to the card
