Can anyone recommend me a really good sounding pair of speakers (16.5cm)?

It's going to be ran straight from a Alpine headunit, so not amplified through an amplifier

a little more details, components or not? budget? ...

Coaxial - I just want a direct replacement for the standards

i was on a small budget just needed some clearer sounds, got some Sony 1735's for like £25, and they sound great, huge bass. at the mo they are powered by the head unit, but hopefully il get a decent amp soon, then il hook it up to that. plus they were just a direct replacement, just cut the clips off the loom nad connected to my new ones. simple job, hardest bit was getting the door panel off

Really interested in the infinity and JBL because of their name and rep - Lovin the sound of adjustable tweeters

Not too keen on Vibe altogether

Rockford looks full blown out and classy!

Any over suggestions or reviews?
