So I'm wondering which one I should buy (if any!) to replace the standard Bosch DV

The Bailey ones have taken my eye so I'm just wondering which type would be better. I'm after a small "tishhh" sound but I have heared that a recirc will do that with an induction kit, can anyone shed any light on this?

Performance/car lifespan wise, a recirc is better? Atmospheric cause ECU/MAF errors I'm told?

i have placed K&N filter (open cone) on my GTI with stock ECU and eversince i hear the turbo spool better and hear the DV blow.

about lifespan etc.. thats about the same i guess.
but the car has to be mapped for a blow off, engine can go into "security mode" (don't know how you call it in englisch)-->limp mode??
only thing is, Diverter valve is better in the way that it recirculate the air back to the intake.
so when you shift the turbo does not have to work so hard to build up boost. because it stays more under pressure.
so gas response will be better and you get less turbolag as when you have a blow off valve.
but if you are going to notice that... don't know


on the other hand, blow off make a better sound imho, it's a bit louder also.
