im lookin to get some HID's coz im having no luck finding xenon headlights lol..... so yeh im gna set some..
i no that i gto get H7's... jus gto decide which ones now lol... ma 6n2 is racing green.. so its quite dark and i dont really think that blue will look too good on it.. bt not sure... so im thinkin 4k's.....
wt do u lots think?

buying an HID with 4K lamps is almost like fitting those common cheap xenon bulbs hehe, its too warm. go at least for 5K or 6K, these are still white looking rather then blue. see it in the image below

i have 8000k and apart from actually being illegal they are rather blue but its what i wanted, i would recommend for yourself 6000k its the factory set ones so it will basically be the same as gti's and are a pure white light, 40000k i think you would be a bit dissapointed as its more a warm white than a bright white

6k is the way forward mate - its a nice crisp white with a hint of blue which works on any car well, especially the darker colours

My bother has 6k's 55w on his e46 and to me the blue i would have looked abit awkward.... so i parked my car face to face with his n switched em on.. and guess whaaa?? it actually looked very nice...

Good choice dude,i would never go above 6000 Kelvin as anything above looks silly and too blue.I would buy something closer to 4500-5000K but again this is my personal opinion and you've already made you r mind up haha.

people are hating my 8000k's lol oh well

loool... i had 8k's on my e30... topped the look of nicely lol
