Fog Light Filled With Water!

Post by JackNoone »

Hey Guys, first post on here, anyway I've just bought a Polo Colour Concept off a mate and I love it but the passenger side front fog is half full of water! I'm not sure how this has affected the bulb but obviously I don't want to check yet! Does anyone know if I can just drill a hole in the back of the light once I've taken it off?

Cheers in advance

Welcome to the forum mate. CC is a good model to have in the Mk5s :)

DO NOT DRILL IT!

remove it from the bumper and take off the back cover. Remove the bulb and then just tip it up and the water will come out - you done need to drill it as its not a sealed unit!

Thanks, I'll do it when I'm back with the car.

Yeah, I really like the car, its got pretty high mileage but still drives real nice, I'll stick some pictures up when its all been cleaned.
