What are peoples thoughts on the above and if you've owned more than one of them, which was better and why?

Road noise, grip in dry and in wet...stuff like that :)

Toyos and Uniroyal can be had for £340 fitted, the Goodyears are £370 fitted...

Let me know :)

ive had all three... :? :?

eagle F1s are the best in that list i reckon, but too much money for the tyre....

toyos are best value for money tbh... ive had 3 sets of toyos, 1 of the t1-s and 2 of the t1-r and i reckon the t1-s are better in the wet, the t1-r i managed to overheat on a track day but they still gripped well!

rainsports used to be cheap - but ive noticed they arent anymore... so.... go for the toyos lol

as it comes to road tires i am still pleased with the dunlop sportmaxx that came with the car.
but i think the best road going tire is a Bridgestone potenza RE50A.
verry good grip in dry and also in rain.
only problem is they don't come in size 205-45-16 from a GTI.

my next tyrechoise will be Toyo R888.
Semi slick pattern, absolutly stunning grip in dry, in rain alot less but still more then every other av. tyre.
i don't drive fast on a wet road so it will be fine
