Hi peeps i have just joined this forum so hi to all.

Im currently getting ready to change my clutch in my MkII 1043cc Loon because after 25 years and 77 thousand miles, Its time for a new one.

Was just wondering if anyone has done one before and any problems they encoutered, if they would mind sharing experiences. Anything i should look out for or what i should expect.

Look forward to hearing from you guys

Should be pretty easy mate. Id recommend following a haynes manual as they arent half bad for this. Just take care undoing the driveshaft flange bolts as if you havent got the socket in far enough or you slip you can make a right mess of the head and the boots.

nothing too hard

worst bit is trying to lift the heavy gearbox back on while on your back...if you can get a helper then have em help you lift it on
