Max. Tyre Profile?

Wanted to put a pair of 195/40/17 on the front and 205/40/17 on the rear of a 6n2 GTi. Would this be okay? Anyone else done this and regret it? How bad is the ride afterwards? Thanks in advance

hi i have 205/40/17 on the front and 205/40/17 on the rear of my 2001 polo classic and it is ok love them

That is fine it wont feel any different it is done all the time and 17s on a 6n2 have you got any pics ?
