6n coilovers

question for you lot
am i right in presuming the actual coilover is the same for the 6n and 6n2 but the 6n2 has a different set of springs for front?
So... you recon i could just put my springs off amy front coilovers on the new ones? as 6n ones are like 30 quid cheaper and every penny counts at the min
