I've just fitted my new south performance boost gauge but when I turn the engine on and let it idle, the needle sits alot below 0. Does anyone one how to sort this?
Also does any one know what boost should be on Revo stage 1?
Thanks

Just watched loads of videos of the boost gauges on youtube and all the new south performance ones sit at -20 on idle, same as mine.

Just going to wire it in to the lights now so the gauge lights up.

Your boost gauge is meant to do this.
When it is idling you are not on boost so it reads neg figures as this is vacuum once on boost the needle will show positive figures as you are on boost

Hey , Ive been thinking about a boost gauge too.
I like the smoked ones, how much did yours cost if you dont mind me asking. Was it easy to fit? DIY job? sounds like a hard job getting the vac. hose through the fire wall and wiring it in. Tips/ Advice would be great

9N3 Turbo - I think it peaks at around 18-19 psi then drops down to around 15-17 psi and holds at that until around 4500-5000 rpm. Not 100% though as it's hard to floor it and keep looking at the gauge without crashing :p
GuyGTI - Yeah i definately prefer the look of this one to some of the cheaper ones
