Wobbling Dash

Guys,
Is it normal for the 6N2 to have a wobbly dash? Over hard bumps the whole dash wobbles..
I'm wondering if the dash has been out at some point (maybe for a new pedal box) and not reinstalled correctly.. or this just one of those traits on this car?

the top of the dash dont need to come out for the pedal box but there is 2 bolts some where in the engine bay try tightening them up and see what happens

Guys, can someone help me out here please..
Our 6N2 is such a nice car, but the whole experience is spoilt by this stupid wobbling dash problem.
When you go over a bump, the entire dash jumps as if it's about to come off it's mountings - it's quite a disconcerting feeling.
I can't see the bolts being referred to in the above post.
Has anyone ever removed the dash from their 6N2? I just need to know how to get to the main dash mounting points. You can actually move the dashboard back and forth by hand at the moment if you press it hard enough..
Help!!!

Quick update, asked on another Polo forum and got the answer I needed.
In case anyone else has similar issues - the 6N2 dashboard is held on with 4 x 13mm bolts on the inside of the bulkhead beneath the scuttle panel. There are 2 torx screws on the interior side (one on either side beneath the plastic circular caps).
The torx screws had been overtightened at some point and therefore wouldn't tighten. We drilled a new hole and used a nut and bolt and now the dash is tight and the driving experience is as smooth as you would expect from a well built VW

My dash is jumping up&down so much its causing my CD player to skip.

I checked the 2 torx bolts and they are ok. How easy/difficult is to get the other 4 bolts? If I understand correctly, they are in the engine compartment, behind the sound insulation? There is very little space there in my car

They are behind the scuttle panel - remove the trim as if you would replace the pollen filter and you'll see them. 2 on each side.

I bow my head in shame. I get it now

Thanks
*Edit: found the bolts but they are all nice and tight. Any other possible cause/solution?

To be honest after driving the mrs Polo yesterday I notice it still has a jumping dash when hitting a bump hard so it's not 100% fixed to my satisfaction either..
Short of removing the dash completely and checking all the mounts (for which I have no time at the moment) I'm not sure what else to do..
If you fix it, please do report back as I'll be interested.
I'm wondering if this is normal for the 6N2 though??
Cheers

Well, I sort of got used to it to tell you the truth. I just saw the post and thought I might give it a go. I'm not planning on taking the whole dash out at the moment either. Im just guessing but seems like a mount must be broken or something
