yep really easy, u need a the securing nuts, washers and screws which dont come with the fog lights.

then you just unplug the fog light wires from behind the bumper (u can reach them from behind the foglight grill and plug them in to the lights, attach the lights to the car, put your new grille over and your sorted

dont forget the new headlight switch which lets you use the fogs too

I think I might go with the ordinary grills without the fog lights.

Its up to you but the front fogs make a massive difference to the front, especially when you're cruising around at night! The lamps themselves are the only real expense. The surrounds are the same price as the standard ones, the switch is only about £5 from a scrap yard and the screws, washers , speed nuts and bulbs wont cost you more than about £10

Fair enough. It'll look sweet with all the honeycomb grills in, even without the fogs. I finally put my honeycomb lower grill and GTI splitter on the other day, really pleased with it, haven't any photos up yet cos the car's filthy! Give it a good clean tomorrow and upload a few pics. Have you got any other plans for yours yet?

Yeah nice man :P I'm going to get new front door speakers and tweeters and a new headunit in the next week or so. Then hopefully next month a set of wheels :P How about yourself? Btw are the bumper grills easy to fit?

Cheers

If you dont want fogs, then dont replace the side grills.

There the same.. Diamond and NOT honeycomb GTI as stated on the website.

Made that mistake before and sent them back.

yea dude im plannin on moving towards proformance mods rather than styling. I want to get mine to a body shop to get a few little stone chips and scratches sorted out. That should be me done with styling (for a little while). I also want to upgrade the brakes to greenstuff pads and black diaming combi disks then spring for the remap!
yea the grills are dead easy tp fit. The middle lower one is the most awkward as you have to take the bumper off, it will take about 45 mins at most to do all of them.
