well done with the style you choose mate
there are these cheap coilovers but as always you get what you pay for, so they might be quite stiffer than other coilovers and not having that much of a quality built. so if I where you if possible I save up to twice the price of these coilovers and buy some good brand.
as for the de badged grill, some grills like the once FK sells are supplied with a piece to fill the notch to fill the bonnet, but best go for the professional look and weld the notch out. that s what I ll be doing soon hopefully if the budget permits it hehe
good luck with the build

If I was you I'd go for the GTI Grill. Recentley fitted mine and it look brilliant. I did have a de-badged grill before but it had a horrible little semi-circle which would have costed me a hell of a lot of money to get it smoothed and re-sprayed. So yeah if I was you I'd go for a GTI Grill you can pick one up for £35-£50. It really does look good!.
And for the coilovers, im also in the same boat as you. Because i as a "student" and am on a budget am not willing to spend anymore than £500 on a set of coilovers. I think I'm going to go for a set of JOM Coilovers which I've heard arent that bad.
Good Luck!

If you have £500 as budget for coilovers you can buy pretty good brands such as AP, Weitec or Apex but not JOM
have a good lock here mate before you buy

How much is it to fill your bonnet in approx?
Im just trying to way up my options
