I pressume you mean the 150 BHP 2.0 MK2 Ibiza GTI lump then?
Not heard of anybody doing that conversion before but I dont really see the point.
You might as well go for the 1.8T 20V conversion or just modify the Polo Engine and stick in the Lupo 6 speed box.

how difficult is it to attatch the 6 speed or even lupo 5 speed box? ive heard both boxes are far stronger than the polos box? considered cams n ITBs before but standard polo box would never cope

cheers!!

I am not too sure how difficult it is but Its likely to be easier than changing the whole engine.
The Lupo 5 speed box is supposed to be very poor too (not sure if its the same as the GTI box anyway).
The 6 speed gearboxes are far better
4-2-1 Manifold, De-Cat, Performance Exhaust, Induction Kit, Shcrick Cams and a Custom Re-map should see you hit 155-160BHP
