Just wondered if anyone has changed their seats in their 6N2. We have a 1.4 Match, and my girlfriend finds the seats really unsupportive. I guess the 6N2 GTI seats are a straight swap, but wondered if TT/ any Golf or S3 seats might fit either?

Anyone know?

Could someone tell me if the 6N2 GTI seats are height adjustable or have lumbar adjustment too please?

Seat Ibiza seats will fit and MK3 golf seats

Ive got mk3 golf vr6 seats in mine, Fronts go straight in, Backs need to be modified to fit

Polo GTI seats are height adjustable and i have a set in the forsale section if you are interested?

I guess GTI seats are the obvious choice. Have PM'd you, but its a shame your soooo far away. Need a set in the South East really unless someone knows of a bargain courrier.

Ive already got heated leather in the TT so I know about the confort factor The missus drives the polo really so just need something a little more supportive than the rubbish Match seats, and height adjustable as shes a short arse

Some of the 1.4 75bhp options have the height adjustable ones

100bhp and GTIs came as standard

so is my car 75bhp i always thought it was 60bhp for some reason... i have the 8v

Then it seems you are lucky and have a different set of seats Yours is a 60bhp if its the 8v

ha ha very lucky indeed... ive looked through the list of optional extras and theres only 1 or 2 things that my car dindnt get... like the satnav thing and the metalic paint. seems i have been quite lucky with my car specially as i got it at an auction for 900 quid lol

Mk3 seats might be a cheaper alternative actually. How much do the back ones need to be modified to fit? Whats required?

Just need to detach the fabric from the back plate, which takes 5 mins, then put the polo one onto it. Dead easy!

Whilst on the subject, has anyone tried collecting a new interior in their polo (ie fitting 2 front seats + a rear bench in the back with the seats down) or am I being a tad optimistic .... My only other option would be the TT!
