After now having my windows replaced i have noticed that when i open the door with the keys out and the lights on the buzzer doesnt sound. This was always a pain in the @rse before but i kindof miss it now.

Is there a fuse for this buzzer or can anyone else think of any reason as to why i dont get the warning any more

The buzzer is much like a relay plugged into the relay/fuse box under the dash. Check if it's still plugged in tightly, mine came somewhat loose and stopped working.

open the fuse pannel under the light switch (back of cubby hole) then theres 2 screws (torx 35 iirc) remove them and then the fuse box hinges down and the relays are sat there behind

Hi,
I'm having the same problem with the door and lights.

Can somebody tell me which relay (what does a relay look like even) should I be looking for in a 2000 Polo, 6n2?

I've managed to unscrew the fuse box, and can move it aside a bit, but then I see a few black boxes with numbers on them (100 for example), and some yellow and white wire junctions.
They all seem to be pretty secure, but still the warning doesnt come on with the lights left on.

Thanks,
Eoin
