Camber Issues

Right,
The problem I have is that after lowering my car I have gained a lot of negative camber on the front. As the picture below shows
So I took it to a local four wheel alignment centre who told me that I needed to by some sort of camber adjusting kit. Which by reading around is not really correct (I think).
So after asking a few local people I decided to take a wheel off loosen the two bolts and pull the top of the brake disc towards me as much I could and then re tighten the strut. This has removed some of the camber but its still quite noticeable!
So the question is what would you suggest the next step of action would be? Is there a kit that I need? Is there any further adjustment that can be done? Am i pulling on the right bit to adjust it Etc
Thanks for any help
Alex

I had the exact same problem when I fitted my Coilovers Alex.
What you have done so far is spot on, you have already adjusted it as much as you can so your next step should be to get it tracked and then a 4 wheel laser alignment. It can be difficult to get it tracked due to the clearance but a lot of companies can still do it, I know ATS are good for lowered cars (if they are in your area?).
Mine is still a little negative but much better than it was. You will get through front tyres quicker but the major plus point is the handling, the handling is immense when your running negative camber.

Ahh cool thanks bud! Do you know what degrees of negative camber you are running front and rear??
Or does any one else have the correct figures or suggestions on what would be a sensible amount of camber to run? I cover a fair few miles so don’t want new tyres every couple of mouths... Any help is appreciated? Another question is the camber on the rear adjustable?
Thanks Alex

If all that fails mate you can purchase camber adjustable bolts from venom motorsport and pay over the phone they come to 21quid and are eibech and replace one bolt either side at the front two lower mounts, you can turn the bolts in such a way it adjust the camber alot!

I had a lot of negative camber on mine. So i took it to a place called Goodwin Tyres, and the guy charged me 80 quid to get the camber straight and laser tracking and alignment. I think that my car drove better when it was lowered, but i put standard suspension back in, got the camber done and now my steering vibrates a bit when i drove between 60 - 80 mph.

Thanks for the reply's guys
I had a look last night and now pulled the strut as far as it will go to correct the camber.... made a quick jig and did the old school way and measured about 1-1.5 degrees of camber hopefully this should be okay??
The et of the wheels is 25 and the front splitter is about 110mm of the ground so not that low realy
Thanks

i have -1 on one side and -1.1 on the other as this is as close as they cud get it to matching propely (after 3 hours of waiting) ...
but does handle better now
