Should the doors on my GTi lock automatically after having the keys in the ignition for a certain amount of time?

I'm sure mine used to, but I may have been dreaming.....

You're probably dreaming dude.

The GTi can't have the anti h-jack feature for some reason (please someone correct me if I'm wrong as I'd love to have this on my GTi!)

The only way you can be 'locked in' is if you pressed the lock button on your drivers side doorcard.

The antihijack feature only operates on the electric CL such as the golf and newer polos
