Hi guys, Finally got my 1.9 TDI lowered, and got the big 312mm brakes on as well. Must say i am really pleased with them, and the handling is just awsome. However, i do have one little problem. I have a really bad knockin noise which seems to be coming from the passenger side. It does it constantly drivin straight down either a bumpy or smooth road. Never did it before hand. I was just wonderin if any of you guys have experienced this problem, or have any ideas what it could be? Will get sum pics up later this week when i get chance to give her a wash. Cheers for any help guys.

mine had the same problem. it was the right droplink. (i had the 2003 mondeo ones fitted)
changed them at the dealer with the stock ones and the knocking disappeared.

Cheers for that bud, migt just have to give it a try and see what happens. I fitted brand new mondeo (2003) ones too at the time of fitting the coilovers. The anti-roll bar is quite a bit away from the driveshaft though, its not rubbing on it. Did you mean it was catching elsewhere? cheers

i don't know where it was catching. all i know is that after replacing them the knocking went away.
one of the drop links was broken though.

I thought it may have been the wishbones bottoming out, seems as they are a different setup on the 1.9 TDI 9n3, than the 9n's or the 9n3 GTI's

If i swop the new mondeo droplinks back for my original droplinks, and the noise is still there, you got any more ideas? haha. cheers the help monk.
