Seat comfort for the taller driver

Anyone experience discomfort (especially in the left leg) on long drives when driving the polo?

I am 6'2" and after about 2 hours of driving I get pain in my left leg. I suspect its because my thigh has no support on the seat bolster even with my foot on the footrest next to the clutch pedal.

If I push the seat back any further I cant reach the steering wheel and gearlever comfortably... So at the moment its a compromise which is not ideal.

If I could move the steering wheel and gearlever back by about 3" the problem would go away.

Anyone else get this pain? Any ideas of how to deal with it?

im 6,3 and i must say its not the most comfortable car ive driven as a taller driver. I dont really drive for as long as you the only thing that i find helps is to change the position of everything now and again and it releases the tension in the muscles
