Getting a polo soon, what should I do to it :D

I'm getting a polo 9n when I pass my driving test (fingers crossed anyway) and it looks like it's gonna be a 1.2 - 1.4 =\
However, I like helping my boyfriend mod his car, and there are a few things I'd like to do to my car, but I don't really know what I CAN do lol
I'd like to put some new seats in, change the rear lights and maybe get a blacked out grill, but I Was wondering what seats fit in, what lights fit?
Does anything from newer polos fit in to the 9n?
Any help would be appreciated
Phie

not sure there are many seats that are a direct fit without any modification, unless you the model you get isnt a sport the i suppose you could put in the sports seats,
grills are easily available from ebay, but make sure they have the notch in the top as there is a notch in the bonnet where the badge fills it (you'll see what i mean when you look at one)
the rear lights from the 9n3 fit if you like those,
there plenty of inspiration on here for you anyway, it just depends how far you want to take it

I think the seats from a Fabia VRS fit without any modification needed - anything else needs frames to be made up to fit.
The 9n3 rear lights need some wiring to be done to fit. You need to make up/buy an adaptor for them.
The bonnet has a small cutout for the front badge to fit, if you want to fit a debadged front grill then you need to fill this and repaint the bonnet. Does look good when done though.
Wheels are the same fitment as the 9n3. You want 5x100 et38.
Thought about colour coding the bump strips and stuff like that? Makes the car look loads better.

Lightswise, I've picked up some black lexus-style rear lights which I think look pretty good on the black car (they also come in plain/white whatever you want to call it

), also got a hold of some black fk angel eye headlights, planning to throw in HID's at some point..
yeah, so things you can consider for the lights.
