Ok guys i am 100% sure it's not me.... but over the last day or so, after driving along slowly or coming to a stop, an eggy smell wafts through the cabin.
i've had the bonnet up but can't smell anything. No emissions lights or anything..
Could it be the cat? i've never heard of one going... It's in for its MOT on Monday ffs!

I very much doubt its the cat....
The aircon system gives an eggy smell when it needs servicing!
Get it re-gassed properly and then set off one of those "disinfectant" aircon bombs inside the car with the airocn running in the hope it clears the smell...

It could be a matter of things, but the smell you have described sounds cat related.

Well it sailed through it's emissions test and the smell only comes through when in first....

does smell like G.B oil... will give it a little longer see if it gets better/worse.

Check the selector seal on the gearbox - it might be leaking

Is the cap on the bottle properly - may sounds stupid, but it often happens
Also, if it smells that bad, its gone off and needs fully flushing through with freshwater. It can actually turn acidic, and the smell is due to a sulphuric reaction which can damage paintwork!
