Hi just signed up as i need some information/advice.

My Gearbox has just destroyed itself on my N Reg 1.4 8V polo, and im going to have to get a new gear box, and was wondering if a Valver Gearbox would fit on my polo, and if their would be any perfromance increase, relibiality etc. so please feel free to drop by a comment as it would be appreciated.

A 16v gearbox will increase the gear ratio's too much and you'd hardly get the car shifting. Personally, I don't think it'd be worth doing. Try getting a gearbox of any other 8v and you should be ok.

Cheers yeah im going to stick to a 8v box, hopefully this one will last longer lol
