UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Hey guys I have an automatic Polo which isnt too bad but I would like the speed of a manual and not to be laughed at when I say I have an automatic VW Polo! Is it possible to take the automatic gearbox out and swap it for a manual gearbox added the clutch etc... My mate says its easy and he can do it all for about £150 including the parts! I am very tempted if im honest just wondering if anyone else has attempted to try this at all? Is it hard? and is it worth it in the end?

if it is possible then go for it! manual driving is a lot better than automatic anyway especially polos!
