headlight adjusting motor

has it happened to anyone that the motor for adjusting the headlamps works only when it likes to. when I turn the knob nothing happens and then sometimes randomly when I turn the ignition on it starts adjusting all by itself!! does anyone know how can I sort the problem pls

Just the way it works mate. I wouldnt worry about it
TBF its a pointless extra - you should never really need to use it!

really! does it work that stupidly? actually it used to work just fine when I was handed the car but now I don't know what happened. nah dw I don't actually use it but was curious hehe. thanks alex
