9n3 gti - standard cd changer to jvc head unit???

Does anyone have a solution on how I can get my standard fit cd changer to work with my jvc double din headunit? The jvc has a cd changer socket in the back but is a different kind to the changer lead. Is it going to be a case of sell the vw unit and buy jvc one?

Which headunit are you using? There are millions of different adapters floating around, but if we find out what headunit you are using we can figure out which interface etc.

It's a jvc avx-810 double din head unit. And has a jvc cd changer socket in the back

check the various adapters on sites such as caraudiosecurity, ebay etc.
Unfortunately i'm not sure of the technical names for both the type of connectors - maybe someone else will be able to provide more of an insight to help support your find.

What you need is the conversion adapter that will convert your standard polo ISO connection to the old style connection, here is one on ebay :
