every time i start her up when shes been cold, theres a horrible noise. Theres no problem starting her, she goes first time its just after she has started theres a crunch which is the same sort of crunch as when you miss a gear and then thats it.

any ideas?

im thinking maybe starter motor or alternator?

Mine has this from time to time also, normally its when the car is cold and i'm reversing up the drive.
Sounds as if you have crunched a gear but I wouldnt worry about it mate, mine's been doing it for 2 years without any problems.

is it when you start it up?

got this fixed, starter motor was hanging up, just needed cleaning, now i can hear another noise though
