Guys,

Just looking at different interior options for our 5 door 6N2.

I obviously want to try and go for something with the least amount of hassle and straight fit if possible.

Aside from a GTI 6N2 interior... what else is a straight fit?

I hear the Golf MK3 interior goes in (some modification to the rear bench required).. also hear that some Ibiza interiors go in?

Can anyone be kind enough to list or let me know confirmed donor cars that I could lift the interior from please - year and generation.

Does anyone know if any other car door cards are a direct fit on the 6N2?

Cars I'm thinking of:

Skoda (Fabia?)
SEAT Ibiza
Golf MK3
Audi A3?

as you sad the most common swap is the mk3 golf leather, heated seats. and yeah the rear needs minor modifications to the back metal plate if I am not wrong but nothing out of this world. I ve also seen ibiza cupra seats in polos but those have "cupra" stamped all over the fabric so I don't like them much imo. I'd go for the vr6 seats as they look the parts

MK3 Golf
Ibiza MK3 & 4
Skoda Fabia (VRS seats are very nice)
Audi A3/S3 - Recaro's look awesome

The Polo MK5 colour concept seats are very nice too

Do you know if the A3 rear seats go straight in or is it the same as the MK3 Golf rear bench conversion?

No problem at all mate

I am not too sure reference the Audi A3 seats, I know it can be done but i'm not sure if they are a direct fit/what modifications are involved.

Have you considered the MK5 Colour Concept Recaro Seats? they look awesome

Ben, I'd love them - but it's the wife's car and I've already put more money into it than I'll ever get back.. The interior was just another mod I'd like to do if the price is right..

I know how you feel mate, cars are just endless money pits.
Keep a look out on eBay they do tend to come up for sale every now and again, its just getting a set for the right price.

Just to update you guys, I got hold of a complete 5 door cloth interior from a late MK3 Golf VR6 this week and fitted it in today. I'll get some pics up soon

If you can work out what interior this is, they slot straight in no hassle
