Need help with juddering! Possible mis fire?

Hey guys and gals!
I went through a puddle a few weeks ago and then when I put my foot down the car juddered on accelerations. After a few days the juddering stopped. I havnt noticed the problem again until recently when driving in heavy rain the car started to judder again. Almost like a misfire. This happens in all gears but really mainly noticeable in higher revs! I'm not sure what it can be as it's a few days later and the problem continues. Ive had ht leads changed a few months ago when the car had a mis fire then. Could it be a sensor or maybe dirty air filter not getting enough air though? It's a 1.4 8v hope you guys can help!
Thanks Joe

cheers alex, i might look into that in the future!
I've just got out the aa mechanic who suspects a faulty / breaking down coil pack. he didnt have any diagnostic tools with him but ive done a bit of research and it does seem that it is suspect.
i phoned my garage who said it might be around £90! is that about right?

It could well be the coilpack actually. Thats common for causing missfires on the 6n2 polos. They are quite expensive, so that does sound about right. Ill check the part though. PM me your chassis number and ill check ;)
