In need of some 6n2 Headlights.
Preferably nice and clean with no misting or marks on the plastic see through lense.
MUST has a fully operational headlight adjuster.
Passenger side is needed mostly but will tak a pair if cheap enough.
Thanks.

Are you after the Xenon Headlight units off a GTI or just standard 6N2 headlights?

Just standard..
Parts are interchangeble i've been told..
So want to fix my misty/marked casing and non-working adjuster.

I rang VW because my Xenon lenses are really hazy, but unfortunately you can't buy the lenses individually because VW tend to be robbing f***ers! I have heard that the standard lenses are the same but how easy/difficult they are to change I really dont know.
Let me know how you get one because I would be interested in doing the same thing if they are interchangable.
You can get cheap 6N2 headlights off ebay

They are 100% the same.
As are the adjusters inside, the ones which break on the GTi's!
I just need to do it and do a write up. It's fiddley, but I have had my lens off before so I know it can be done.

Ben,
Hell yeah!!
It'll be a how to change the exsiting clear lense and also how to replace the broken headlight adjuster.. For all those who have a dodgy angle on their headlights and can't fix it!!

Great stuff mate, can't wait to see the guide i'm sure it will help loads of people
One of my Xenons isnt level at the moment, I think I moved it when I changed to the 6000K bulbs.
Finding out how to adjust them will also be useful

You need VAGCOM to re-adjust the headlight level. But you can manually tweek them using the two allen key bolts on the top of the headlights. All they do is control a screw within the headlight casing pushing the unit forwards and backwards within the casing. But, mine have been 'tweeked' so much one of the screws came out of the unit so now it wont tweek, hence why I also need to take mine apart again.. I hate previous owners f**k ups.

Hello....I'm also waiting patiently for your diy guide on how to change the adjusters!

iv just bought a set of xenon headlights and I'm gona have my old ones as spares- can't really sell them on as they are all rusty inside. So if it possible like you say, then I'm hoping to take the adjuster out of my old ones and out them in the new ones

fingers crossed
