Hi Guys,

Currently got a 9N TDI sport, but as I am getting a van for work, I was looking at buying the mrs a new Polo (She has a swift at the moment )

What chassis is the Polo based on? As I think I have read it is a completely new design. Also, what stud pattern? Still 5x100?
I am looking at putting some different wheels and brakes (to replace the biscuits) so it would be interesting to know if Mk4 Golf platform brakes fit (gots some 312mm's in the workshop!)

I cant be certain but if you get the 1.6 tdi you could put those brakes straight on and its still 5 X 100 but i think the hubs and calipers are all in one on the smaller engines like on the last polo
