Are Polo gti Rear lights darker than standard ones?

ive never been able to do a comparison and was just curious whether they were different?
any ideas?

Do you have a standard or GTi mate?
I can post a pic of my GTi rear if you have standard to compare?
My sister has a standard but she is out atm or I could take a pic of them side by side

yeah i got the standard se. If you could take a pic for me that would be great.

as far as i know the GTI rear lights are the same as any other polo's rear lights.
for that reason i got the hella OEM black lights to give it a finishing touch
if they are darker, it's not by much because i never noticed my stock ones were darker

Hmm...cant really tell a great deal. maybe if you have a look at your sisters and let me know?

I always thought that the GTi rear lights were the same as the standard Polo lights?
They've always looked identical to me.

They are the same taillights on gti and standard polos.
But there are two other versions of taillights available in the accessory catalog. I've attached an image with them , and you have the oem part number under each one - and those can be ordered I think from any VW dealer.

I've seen Polo's who's indicator came on in the centre of the circular break light. . .are those the GTi?
In my model the indicator is a light of it's on and the bottom corner of the light.

They're not gti, possibly some aftermarkets?

the 2 versions above, the white and black ones are from Hella.
i have the dark version on my white GTI, looks nice imo.
looks good on a GTI because the headlights are black

gti are same colour as 9n3 ones
