Well Just came back from my holiday and took the GTI along and loved every moment of it :D

But during the last leg of my journey after I filled her up, the MPG, MPH etc valves went to 0  During the whole journey I was able to get 36ish MPG and now it displays 25 :(..... This might sound silly but I dont recall doing more that 60-65 on the motorway and wasn't stuck in any traffic for hours.......All my journey was motorway......

Also my distance travelled, average speed, average fuel consumption, and real time fuel consumption information have all gone to 0

Dunno whats wrong???, car sounds and drives ok.

Please any advice????

36 mpg on a gti is about right isnt it?.........

I went to Surrey last week and got 74.9 mpg doing between 60 - 80 mph, the joy of TDI :p

I am not really complaining about the 36mpg but the fact the valves went zero all off a sudden

Did you hold the little button down that is underneath the stalk for a second or two? That deletes the values.

Hmm! I wonder....I really dont remember tbh, I might have. But once pressed does it actually delete all the valves or just one set?

You know how you can switch between the figures for the most recent journey and the figures which are the total of loads of journeys, I think if you hold it down for a couple of seconds it erases the current journeys figures, but if you hold it down long enough it resets them all I believe.
