Its that topic again......

I recently had my pedal box replaced along with my clutch, and gearbox.

Just was wondering if once changed, has anyone had any problems with these components afterwards? Will they last until the car dies now (not the clutch)?

AND do the new pedal boxes have a different design from the older ones (which were initially put in the car)?

Hi, sorry to jump in....
I am new to the forum having just purchased a GTI I would be intersted in knowing how to spot any failings with the notorious pedal box. One thing I have noticed is that the delivery of power when releasing the clutch isn't as smooth as I would expect is this likely to be related??

hello boys i have had my polo gti for about 4 months i took it to star performance about a month ago. On the way home my gear box started to whine i thought it was the clutch release bearing but on sunday some thing in the box went bang. so i put it in to the garage it was not the bearing it was the diff.So if your like me and like racing do not wheel spin because the diff pins can not take it and the box for an exchange on is 858.00 +vat and then there is fitting on top of that but if you put a hole in the side of the box you will not get an exchange one.Sorry for the bad news.........
