Shortened Drop Links! HELP!

Just ordered some FK AK Street Coilovers for my 9n. Do i need shortened drop links to fit these?

depends how low you wanna go, not too expensive for mondeo drop links anyway :mrgreen:

Mine are wound right down and I get some knocking on the front end, dont want to fork out £50 for shortened ones though.
Are the mondeo ones a direct solution? IE shorter than standard polo ones? And if so what year do I need to get them from? :shock:

Need to know if thats the problem i have lowered my 9n and get a knocking noise with out droplinks ?

i cant remember what year but yeah thats what i fitted to my mates, theyre only a single rod with one ball joint facing one way, and the other end ball joint facing the opposite way

That knocking noise might be the strut tops the barings sease up, i had this problem with mine.

Mine fell apart when I put my coilies on. Just put all the bearings back in and packed with grease :shock:

Haha that happend when I fitted my coilovers on the weekend. Except I bought new ones becos the bearings went everwhere!
