Mechanic @ Awesome Told Me About an Engine Mount..

I went for my Revo trial the other day at Awesome and one of the mechanics told me that my car needed an engine mount
I think it was the rear engine mount, he said something along the lines of it feels as if the car and engine are not connected to each other
Not sure which mechanic it was but he's the one with the red Seat (Leon?)
Just wondering if its a common fault with Polos, this mount not being upto standard? Its booked in next friday to get it changed as the guy seemed like he knew what he was talking about, not like he was trying to just get me to spend money
Any thoughts on this mount?
Cheers

Good idea, problem with trial tune is that I heard - that they may not go back to exact 'stock tune' it was - and more going to 'stock tune' by REVO. That's what I heard.
APR mount will also improve your gear shift feel - and will feel more direct. Go with street racing version, not the hard core one.

I know exactly what you mean, I know my car inside and out - I can definetly feel the difference from the stock map to this Revo "stock" map, it just feels like its lost a bit of power than it had when standard
Oh well, Stage 1 on Friday anyways

Yeah i had the APR trial put on mine week or two after getting my GTI, and after the 6 hour trial switched off, car felt so flat. I thought it was just because i was gettin used to the mapped version, but after a month or so, fuel consumption was pure crap. But just got the full REVO yesturday down at awesome. Fcuk meee its quick. Guy who did the mappin was a right laugh. Was doin like 120 down the back roads in 5th and hes like, yeeahh, keep your foot down, dont you dare let off ahaha.. Your gunna love it mate, its even quicker than than the trial map. Best £350 av spent, ever!! lol

ooh, forgot to mention about the mount, got a bit carried away then lol. sorry. Mate of mine has the PD100 diesel, and he put the hardcore version on his. Drives awesome now, he reckons gear cahnging and power delievery has improved loads. Av had a drive of it with the mount, and vibration really isnt that bad. Easy to get used too. And you cant feel it when drivin anyway mate.

Try with the air conditioning on in middle of summer, waiting at the traffic light. You won't like it much then. I would strongly advise 'street version'.
Congrats on REVO. I love it, but I think it's false advertisement that their trial turns off after 5 hours. Their trial cripples our cars after 5 hours. Making sure we get the upgrade.
