I have recently got hold of some LED boards made by tegwin.

How ever my connections on the lights are not the same as on his instructions. Could some one who has them installed please take a picture of the connections for me.

The connections that i do have are all ready being used by the cars cabling. I was told that i did not need to cut any wires in order to fit them.

Please help me asap as i currently have no lights!

Thank you.

When you say do not fit can you be clearer?

These plug into the extra terminals on the back of the bulb holders

Take a picture of where you are trying to plug them into and post it up mate

Hi, thanks for replying!
Ok after trial and error, the instructions are wrong, well a small part of them any way.

The connections are said to be this :

Yellow- Sidelight - 58
Brake- Red(white stripe) - BR
Ground- Black - BL

Infact they are this (on my lights any way) :

Yellow- Sidelight - 58 *****
Brake- Red(white stripe) - 54
Ground- Black - BL (Any)

*****As per the thread and instructions it says that NO wires are to be cut, just plug and play. Incorrect. I has to splice my connection with the wires that were on the car that corresponded to the number 58 on the brake light.*****

But now i have them installed (glueing was a pain in the butt. I used super glue and activator to glue the boards to the top of the separator in the light.)

I lOVE THEM!

I dont have a camera currently, i tried my iphone and you couldnt see it.

Basically the only connection im concerned about is the one that i have spliced.

I spliced the yellow to the middle cable of the main connector on the car.

From seeing the other picture, the yellow connects to the bottom of the panel. However the instructions were useless as they do not show the connections and they do not give the right number to connect to!

I took the splice off one of the lights, but the cable wore thin and broke. I had to splice them back together.

So with that pissing me off i decided to connect it the way i saw in the pictures, but i have left the other side because i don't want to break that cable also!

Thanks.

Yep I thought it was to do with the brakes as i did some research and found the epc light can be due to the rear brake light not functioning correctly. Also the third brake light was very dim and the lights flickerd so unfortunatly the boards wernt just plug and play. Luckly i do have some electronic knowledge so had a little fiddle and did get them working :). Seems like the polo wiring seems different across the range dependent on the age/model as it's hit and miss if they work first time.
