Hey guys,

Just wondering has anyone had this yet? I booked it today and after booking I asked how much it would be roughly and she said "£220+VAT".

Needless to say I almost completely shat myself as that's about £270

Last year and before I paid £130 so that's what I was expecting. Why is it over double the price for this service?

Do they give me an entire new engine and stuff? They must for that price!

And some t**t scratched my car reversing past mine out of the carpark today You can see where they've scratched the wheel arch reversing out Raging

Anyone got any experience of this service?

Call me stupid but does it not tell you what you get on the quote/leaflet/ sign on the wall?

It normally tells you in the dealers what your getting for your money pretty clearly

I did it over phone lol so I haven't seen what's involved :S

hey aaronon, dunno about the servicing, mine has a cambelt coming up soon. but someone did same thing to mine, i have a nice big scratch over the rear arch and a bit round onto the boot where some idiot turned too early and scraped the front of their car against mine

Awk. I feel for you. It is nasty that people don't care about scratching our cars.

I've looked up the 5 year service and apparently its £299 and that's because of a cam belt change.

on the topic off rear arch scrapes someones done that to mine and it catches the rear bumper too like yours matt!! maybe its the same bastard! some people!

my cambelts 400 quid on the gti lol might come with waterpump too :S not sure

Some people are real t**t bags. That's a bit thicker than mine but mine is longer - and I don't have any scratches leading to it like you.

How much do you reckon it will cost us for a garage to touch it up and make it perfect.

My dads mate runs a small body shop, does really good work and said 80-100, not too bad, just annoying really
