I went up to Edinburgh to collect my new car on sunday then I had the 400 mile drive back down to Bath. After a clean the car looked like this!!!
A big thanks to david burton and g_hmmm with the help with my tuning question! I think its a tuning box as it was already pulled out! Was more than happy with the 130 bhp I may even sell the chip as im more interested in have an economic car!

Get it mapped and it will return some mpg that way I got 73mpg out of mine after map that was driving like clarkson did on that trip he did to Scotland and back on a tank lol.

If you get a bock roof I'm going to acuse you of copying lol nah looks fab.

Black roof makes it nice too trust I have one lol. Glad your pleased

Well I may have to plug it in and see what I get! You'll have to show me a pic i'm afraid!!

was running 180hp in this pic
it's now got 220hp with more on its way


the wheels are just painted black and diamond cut face still the standard ones tho

Put that bloody tuning box back in! It won't effect the MPG at all, in fact as the EGR and emissions are turned "off" it can actually help.

Car looks nice, a bit brave going that far in case it turned out to be a lemon.......

IF you drive remapped cars sensibly they often return better MPG than standard, espeically diesels

G_HMMM your car looks lovely, how much is it lowered by? and is it on coilovers?

So guys dont worry Ill put the chip back in the car. The lady didnt know how or a which point to plug it in, would you plug it it when the car is off, mid key turn or on??

Lowered by 120mm on ap coilovers and custom rear springs to get the lowness.

Hello there, im all new on this forum but i drive a vw polo 9N 1.4 16V 100BHP.

I saw you mentioned you had a tuning box for this engine and you was getting 30bhp out of it?
What is this box and where can i find one as i am trying to find ways of getting more bhp out of my car.

Hey mate (: welcome, nice to see another 9n Sport, the 100hp ones are kinda hard to come by.
Speak to elite remaps, they're going to be doing mine, 25hp gain from the 1.4, and a shag load more torque

I'll eat my hat if you can get a 25% increase in power from a naturally aspirated engine with just a remap. Willing to be proven wrong if you get a before and after dyno print out.

Sorry Was thinking of 25 from somewhere, but just checked, 13hp increase. My bad fella
Still a substantial gain. For the money

Before:
101 hp
126 NM

After:
113 hp
140 NM

Cost: £249

lol im being a nob know but its 12 bhp
