Changing wheel , unlpug battery?

im geting a momo team steering wheel end of this week...will i need to unplug the battery to change wheel ... eg if air bag goes off in the original wheel ?

well i asked this question at my local garage they said to remove battery for so long cant rember how long they said. just so it de-activates air bag
some body might no more than me on here

Disconnect battery and leave it for about 30 mins just to be sure, thats what I did with mine
Rarther wait 30 mins than for it to go off and have a ratchet stuck in my face

Yeah I disconnected it about 30-45mins before doing anything

what will the air bag light go off with the plugging system i got with it ?

steering wheel straight on = car goes to the right lol fail!

only bad point so far is im geting a squeaking noise when i turn the wheel? ... will have proper check tomorow i guess

Nice that the 300mm or the 280? sweet! aye they all do that have a pal that had a leon that did it and a bora but I just went to town on it with WD40 seems to have cleared it. spray it till you think youve put far too much on .....then spray a bit more lol

i don't see an airbag light

did your 2amp fuse clear it?

and think it was a 10 amp fuse... looked at the instructions and just went....eh ? haha
then looked at the bits and hey presto

made it all good

maybe they sent the wrong one

resister from a mk4 golf did the trick
