Weitec GT coilovers

Has anyone got these weitec GT coils in a Petrol polo 9n3 ?
would they lower right down to tyre on 17s ?
i no they lower right down to tyre on 16s on a diesel polo 9n3 but i heard they dont go as low on the petrols ???

I have Weitec coilovers and have 17" alloys. The front easily goes down to the tyre and further but the rear (without adjuster in) sits about 10mm above the tyre.

take it yours is a petrol then?
you got any pics of it ?
you could take the we rubber bit out from top of back spring as well that would give another 10mm easy

I've already taken that out mate, just the spring on the rear. Yes it's a petrol (1.
...I don't have any up-to-date pictures I'm afraid.
