tips on carbon fibre sheets

how difficult is it to cut and stick this stuff properly on your car?

i want to add a few subtle pieces to my black gti, but is it a right b*tch to do? also where is the best place to get some?

Iv done a few interior parts and they were pretty difficult tbh.

eBay do a load of sizes to suit or to order, you'l need 2 ppl and a heat gun as the sheet becomes very pliable wen warm and cools when cold. More ppl the better and heat.

What parts you thinking of doing mate?

havent really decided yet, ive got a sheet of 60mm by 30 wich cost me a fiver, so im gonna see how it looks first maybe air vents??

I did it a week ago on the front VW badge, it wasnt too hard.
Cut a rough shape larger than the part your doing
Stick it on and bend it round the edges as much as pos
Heat it with a hairdrier until its hot to touch and then you kind of stretch it around the corners and rub it with your finger until the wrinkles and bubbles are gone
If it starts going wrong you can just heat it, pull it back off heat it again and re apply it
Then just trim it up as you go along and at the end
